The house, the garden, the weather

The house is mostly outside. Every room has a private outdoor corner of its own, there is a verandah and a courtyard for company, a bonfire for cold nights, and a professional chef. The food is the best reason to stay in. Bring the dog; the house is pet friendly.

Somewhere to sit with people, somewhere to sit alone

Every room has its own outdoor sitting place. Inside, a window seat, a chair by the glass, the far end of the verandah. Nobody will come looking for you.

The rooms

Seven rooms

A colour each, a painting each, a window each, and a private outdoor corner of its own. The paintings are mostly Pichwai, the temple-cloth painting of Nathdwara in Rajasthan. Beside them, a Rajasthani miniature horse and elephant.
